  11. DDEESSCCRRIIPPTTIIOONN
  12.        _t_a_g_t_e_s_t    is a program for testing the ``tag line'' support
  13.        in the _H_y_l_a_F_A_X server.  _t_a_g_t_e_s_t takes a TIFF/F (TIFF Class
  14.        F)  file    and generates a    new TIFF/F file    that is    a copy of
  15.        the input file, but with    sample tag  lines  imaged  across
  16.        the top of each page.  Options are provided for specifying
  17.        a tag line format string    and a tag  line     font  file.   If
  18.        neither    are  specified,     then  _t_a_g_t_e_s_t    will  use builtin
  19.        defaults.  _t_a_g_t_e_s_t is designed for testing tag line format
  20.        strings    and  fonts  before they    are configured for use by
  21.        the facsimile server.

  24.        --ff _f_i_l_e     Image the  tag     line  format  string  using  the
  25.          Portable   Compiled  Font  (PCF)  in  _f_i_l_e.   By
  26.          default  _t_a_g_t_e_s_t  looks  for    the   font   file
  27.          ffiixxeedd..ppccff.

  29.        --mm _f_o_r_m_a_t Use  _f_o_r_m_a_t  when  imaging  tag  lines.  If this
  30.          option    is not specified, then _t_a_g_t_e_s_t    uses  the
  31.          format    string ``From %%n|%c|Page %%p of %%t''.

  33.        --oo _f_i_l_e     Write    output    to  _f_i_l_e.   By    default    output is
  34.          written to the    file tt..ttiiff.
